Stupid waste of money sending 250,000 1 dollar checks

Ive seen some dumb ideas but this isnt very bright at all.http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/6420ap_wa_food_stamp_checks.html Washington state sent out 250,000 1 dollar foodstamp checks. Now throw in the cost of printing a quarter million checks and postage these checks cost more than they was worth. Im sure the people who got them are living high on the hog with that 1 dollar. Maybe if they are lucky they will have a store near them they can purchase couple packs of hotdogs for the dollar. I figured the cost of sending them at .42 cents each cost the state $105,000 dollars throw in the cost of printing 250,000 of these dumb plain dumb.Were in hard enough times as it is. I just dont see this a worthy cost effective way of doing business. There plan is by sending out this they are expecting to get more money to go towards the foodstamp program there. It dont make sense to me to waste the amount of money it took to make and send out those checks. Thats why im not a politician they got ways to of making sense out of stupidity that seems to boggle my mind. Im sick of all politicians I know I sure dont have all the answers to the troubles we have but to waste money just to send out a dollar check is a waste of money. Seems like we got money to burn these days so burn baby burn.
